Infidelity means the breaking of trust. It occurs when one partner in a relationship believes that faithfulness is continuing, while the other partner is secretly violating it. You do not have to be married or heterosexual to experience infidelity. It can happen in any relationship in which sexual and emotional intimacy is expected to be exclusively with each other.
Dr. Don-David Lusterman, distinguished psychologist, author, and renowned expert on infidelity, explains the different types of affairs and why people have them. In his warm, supportive manner, he provides advice for confrontation, repairing broken trust, dealing with damaged relationships, and what you should know about infidelity.

Great video. I would be interested to know Dr. Lusterman's take on the Tiger Woods scandal. What did he think about his press statement last week? Can a person who treated his wife with such disregard really change?
