Shelter Dogs Looking for a Home

Lionel, Dutchess and a 7-week old puppy yet to be named are among many other dogs living at the North Hempstead Animal Shelter who are looking for a home.  Come and pay them a visit, you're sure to fall in love.

The Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter is committed to providing a clean, healthy facility for the humane care and housing of stray and abandoned dogs and their placement in new homes.
 

If you don't live in New York and can't make it to the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter, make sure to visit a shelter near where you live.  Shelter dogs make great pets.  If you're a senior living alone, a parent or a grandparent, a dog can keep you company and bring you much pleasure.
