Renée Amellio joined New Jersey Natural Gas in 2009 as Outreach Program Specialist in the utility’s energy-efficiency department – The SAVEGREEN Project™. She brings to the utility more than 20 years experience in marketing communications and strategic planning. 
 
 
In her role, Renée manages and executes outreach program deliverables of The SAVEGREEN Project, working with community and business organizations, municipalities, environmental commissions and the like to advance efforts to educate constituents on energy-efficiency measures and energy-efficiency programs, tools and resources available to implement wise energy-efficiency measures (which translates to lower energy bills). She also works to advance the Company’s Conserve to Preserve® initiative. 
 
 
The SAVEGREEN Project enhances the financial incentives available to NJNG customers under the New Jersey Clean Energy Program and supports the utility’s ongoing effort to provide its customers with the knowledge they need and the money-saving incentives they desire to make the right energy choices for their families, homes, businesses, and communities.
