Volunteerism & Philanthropy

Pop's Run, the yearly event sponsored by the Nassau Wings Motorcycle Club to raise money to help find a cure for amyloidosis took place on Sunday, August 21st.  The day started with a motorcycle run at Yamaha-Suzuki-Victory of Mineola, 336 Jerico Turnpike, Mineola, NY and ended with a fabulous party at the South Shore Motorcycle Club in Amityville.  As you will see by clicking on the video, it was a beautiful day and a great time was had by all.
 
It was a fun-filled afternoon. There were games, many raffle prizes and more food than could possibly be eaten.  Applebee's very generously donated most of the food.  Live music was provided by Bang Zoom, a popular local band who also volunteered their services as they do every year.
 
All of the money collected at the event will be donated to Boston University Hospital in Massachusetts, which is a Center of Excellence for those suffering with amyloidosis, a devastating disease that is very often misdiagnosed.
