Pop's Run is a yearly event sponsored by the Nassau Wings Motorcycle Club -- the purpose of the event is to raise awareness of a little known but deadly disease ... amyloidosis. The money raised from this event will be donated to Boston University Hospital, to assist them in their quest to find a cure for this often misdiagnosed disease.. This year Pop's Run will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2011. The day will begin with a motorcycle run that will start between 9:00 - 10:30, at Yamaha-Suzuki-Victory of Mineola, 336 Jerico Turnpike, Mineola, NY.
The party will get started at 12:00 Noon at the South Shore Motorcycle Club, 8 Seabro Avenue in Amytiville. There will be great food, live music and lots of fun. Raffle prizes. You are all invited!
