Jeannie Appleman is the lead organizer for LI-CAN, which stands for Long Island Congregations Associations and Neighborhoods, an organization that works to better the communities we live in. Although LI-CAN is located in Long Island, it is part of IAF (Industrial Area Foundation) which has 65 affiliate organizations around the world.
