When an injured wild animal is rehabilitated and released back into its habitat, it is a very exciting moment. Join Green Jenine on a visit to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach, Florida and witness the release of a sub-adult loggerhead sea turtle named Twain. Our video features an interview with the coordinator of the center’s hospital, Melissa Ranly. Watch as a staff member and volunteers work together to prepare the turtle for its return to the ocean and see him swim back out into the Atlantic as spectators cheer!
To learn more about the Loggerhead Marine Life Center, which is open to visitors and features exhibits and close up encounters with its many sea turtle patients, go to http://www.marinelife.org.
