No Bake Cake for Father's Day and Every Day

Having a barbecue to celebrate Father's Day? This wonderful dessert takes only minutes to prepare and Dad will be begging for more.

INGREDIENTS:

Purchase a frozen pound cake at the Supermarket
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 pint raspberry sorbet
Chocolate syrup (amount is up to you)
confectioners sugar to taste
Fresh mint (a few sprigs)

Remove the pound cake from the freezer a short time before eating dinner and place it in the refrigerator to defroast . A few minutes before you are ready to serve dessert cut the pound cake into thin slices. Place separate slices on individual plates. Place two scoops of raspberry sorbet on top of each semi-frozen pound cake slice. Arrange fresh raspberries on top of cake. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the cake and sorbet. Add a sprig of fresh mint and sprinkle with the confectioners sugar.

This is a cool, refreshing and delicious dessert -- wonderful after a summer barbecue.
