I read this book this year and was just blown away by it. The real interesting thing about it was that the way it was written (the prose) even mirrored the desolation the story depicted. It's a pretty "rough" story especially if you're a father, but I believe it's a "must read" for everyone. Truly an amazing book.

I have not but will pick up a copy based on your comment.
I just finished reading Dan Brown’s latest book the “Lost Symbol”. It may be fiction but it is loaded with enough fascinating facts about Washington D.C. that even if you’re not a fiction buff you will want to visit our capital and cross check all the detail in Brown’s book. It is absolutely a great read. Once you start reading it, you won’t want to put it down until the very end, and when you do you’ll feel like you just lost a good friend.
