This link details the total failure of government to protect the public from catastrophic pollution right here on our beautiful Long Island south shore and the total negligence of parties involved....thank goodness there are watchdogs out there looking out for the public interest. Please publicize this issue and have concerned citizens write letters focusing on this "tip of the iceberg"----invariably there are many more coastal issues threatening our oceans, waterways and bays....and many other related environmental issues...
