There's nothing like a world tragedy to take our minds off Charlie Sheen and Lindsey Lohan. Looking at photos and videos of what is happening in Japan makes everything else seem trivial. How horrible for the people involved! Our hearts go out to them. One day you're preparing dinner, going to work, sending your childen to school and the next day there is no school building or office building to go to, many of your friends and family have died, and you're frantically trying to find your children. The whole world is praying, but what are we praying for? We can't undue what nature has done. We pray that those involved can handle what has been dealt them. We pray that the nuclear facility can be kept intact. We pray that nothing like this happens again -- although we know that's a futile prayer. We have to do something, so we pray.
The coming week on www.tos50.com will feature a video on a very well-kept secret -- a bird sanctuary at NASA, prepared by our own award-winning environmental scientist, Green Jenine (Jenine Tankoos). You won't believe how beautiful and peaceful this sanctuary is. There will also be an article on the economy from hedge fund manager, Michael Berlin, among other items of interest.
